Meet Your Hosts

George & Stephanie Henderson

"The Ranch," as we lovingly refer to our property, is our sacred place to unplug, relax, and reconnect. We are professionals, and international travelers and lead challenging lives. In 2009 we purchased the property as raw land to have a place to enjoy the beauty of Colorado with our family.

George designed the first "tiny cabin"  based on his years living on a sailboat, realizing "simple can be more." Each cabin is unique, inviting, and comfortable, enabling guests to live large in a small place.  The cabins quickly became a place of respite and restoration for our family and friends.

“The mass of society leads lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation... There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things.”
